NOC and NAICS codes sit at the foundation of virtually every economic immigration and work permit application in Canada, yet misclassification remains one of the most common — and costly — errors practitioners make. This three-hour live workshop gives you a systematic, hands-on approach to getting the codes right the first time.

Through guided exercises and real-world case studies, you will learn how to map a client's duties to the correct NOC 2021 unit group, select the right NAICS industry code for employer-specific applications, and defend your classification choices when officers push back. How do I access the course after purchasing?

How long do I have access to the course?

Your access will expire in one year after purchase. Once you purchase a course, you can return to the course page and watch the video as many times as you like during this period.

For live webinars, the recorded session will be uploaded to the same course page after the event, so you can review it at your convenience even if you missed part of the live session.

How do I claim my CPD certificate?

After completing the course, scroll down to the Your CPD Certificate section on the course page. Enter your full name (as it should appear on the certificate) and your CICC licence number, then click Request My Certificate.

Your certificate will be emailed to you as a PDF within a few minutes. Keep it for at least 5 years as required by CICC.

Do I need to report my CPD hours to CICC myself?

Yes. Receiving a certificate from us confirms you completed the course, but it does not automatically update your CICC record. You must log into the CICC Member Portal and manually add this course to your CPD Learning Log before the June 30 deadline each year.
